Fireside is a calling, to give men an open forum to grow in spirituality, brotherhood and tactical skills through open forums and learning events. Whether side by side at the firing range or at the bonfire, men will be challenged to grow in the Lord.
Brothers, if you want to grow yourself as a husband, father, son or warrior of the faith; then Fireside is calling for you. Fireside is an experiential quarterly retreat with a single goal: to rekindle and fan the flames of what it means to be a man in today's society. A man who serves his family, his community, and his creator with a fervor and zeal that causes others to stand up and take notice. To take notice that there are good men, seeking to do good work, every day, in every area of their lives. Men who, in spite of their imperfections and flaws, have chosen stand up and lead themselves, their families, and their communities with honor, respect, and excellence. Men who are not afraid to admit mistakes, and learn from them. to share their trials, so they can lift others up and be lifted up. Men who seek to encourage other men to take action, and do the next loving thing to live their best life and to ultimately leave the world a better place for those around them.
"As iron sharpens iron, so does the good counsel of a friend."
A series of quarterly events, to encourage our brothers to meet and discuss biblical principles of becoming better men in our marriages, families, community, work and relationships……with rifle and tactical shooting training as well.
The pressure for men to perform is never-ending. Everywhere we as men turn, we are told we need to do more, try harder, get better, and climb higher. We are told that “real men” have successful careers, stable marriages, high-achieving children, and a circle of trusted friends. The world tells us that if we are going to get the respect we desire, we need to perform professionally at the highest level. The church tells us that if we’re going to get the love we long for, we need to perform personally at the highest level. From both the world and the church, the demands never stop. We are in dire need of some relief, some reassurance, and some camaraderie.
